Operational Reviews
Operational reviews are Conducted by Dan Gray and the Continuum Development Services Group, who have conducted over 100 operational reviews of CCRCs and long-term care organizations. The CDS review brings a unique combination of experience that no other consulting team can match. CDS’ review team has over 100 years of combined experience in operations, finance, industry benchmarking and data analysis.
A comprehensive operations review includes:
- three- to five-day visit, which entails a comprehensive tour of the entire campus;
- interviews with key management and staff;
- analysis of staffing, financial, and operational data; and
- services of a clinical consultant in assisted living and nursing care, including observing all aspects of the operations and a detailed review of the assisted living/nursing care staffing schedules.
As part of the operations review, CDS will:
- Provide general recommendations for staffing, cost containment, and revenue enhancement based on the review of operations and the analysis of data provided by management;
- Review current reporting systems and make recommendations for improvement;
- Review the current organizational structure and make recommendations to the Board and management regarding suggested changes/improvements;
- Provide a written report of findings and recommendations; and
- Present findings and recommendations to the Board.
